Jos greeted by traffic logjam, potholes.

TRAFFIC Jam in Jos the Plateau State capital is on the increase, as motorists are finding it extremely difficult to drive around.
The continuous repetition of this situation made scores of road users serious setbacks.

Speaking to SUNDAY STANDARD Mr. Tim Choji said drivers and other road users were forced to use one lane of the road due to the ongoing construction in the state.
He also said the traffic congestion has caused slow movement of vehicles resulting to lateness to work and unnecessary burning of fuel especially on the Old Airport roundabout.
Also speaking, a road user, who preferred anonymity, complained that most drivers and cyclists were very impatient, saying they overtook other cars without horning and in the process block any possible exit route.
He also stressed that overtaking was dangerous and can lead to a collision or even death.
He also urged the government and constructors to hasten the ongoing construction so as to remedy the traffic problems in the state capital.
