See what Buratai said will happen to murdered soldiers children..

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen Tukur Buratai, has  promised to give the welfare of wives of the soldiers a top priority, adding that children of soldiers, who died in line of duty would be sponsored even up to university level.
He said this while delivering a lecture at the National Institute of Policy & Strategic Studies with the theme: "Responding to National Security Threat: The Nigerian Army Perspective," on Tuesday.

He.described the killing of some soldiers and airmen on lawful duty in Bosso, Niger State, by suspected gun runners as unacceptable.

But he says the incident would not stop the military from carrying out its lawful duties.

The army said on Saturday that eight of its soldiers and two airmen were ambushed and killed in Bosso during a raid on the hideout of suspected gun runners.
