Lalong pledges partnership with Muslim Ummah.

THE present Administration in the state has thanked the Muslim Ummah for its continuous support to the Rescue Government in the state.
Governor Simon Bako Lalong made the commendation last Wednesday when the Muslim Ummah in the state paid him Sallah homage, at the Government House, Rayfield, Jos after a successful Sallah celebration in the state.

In respect of the earlier request made by the Muslim Ummah about a burial ground, Governor Lalong told the jubilating Muslim Ummah that, government has since paid for the land, urging the Jos North Local Government chairperson to clear the land for occupation.
He promised to see to some request they made in respect of illegal occupation of land belonging to Sardauna Memorial College, just as he also said that, government has relocated the Muslims Pilgrims Board office to Bauchi road, which is a vast property with a lot of space.
Speaking earlier, the Emir of Kanam, Alhaji Mohammadu Muazu Mohammadu II said, they were at the Government House to felicitate with the Governor and people of the state over a successful and peaceful Sallah celebration which was held recently, thanking the Governor for the peace being experienced in the state since the assumption of office of the present administration in the state.
He however, pledged the total support and loyalty of the Muslim Ummah to the administration in the state.
