Police arrest human trafficking syndicate in Delta state.


Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a human trafficking syndicate who had been operating in Asaba and Okpanam communities, and rescued 12 out of the 15 children unharmed, according to Leadership.
Police image maker in the state, Celestina Kalu who confirmed the arrest said three other suspects were on the run.

She said, “We have arrested human traffickers, and their leader identified as “Madam Cash” from Imo State, she has been operating in Asaba under the guise of operator of a restaurant, and we rescued 12 kids in her custody. She is currently helping the police with further investigation while three of her gang members are on the run”.
