Kogi ALGON calls security to caution Falake’s aide.

THE Association of All Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Kogi State chapter, has called on the security agents in the state to caution Duro Meseko, the Media Coordinator for Faleke/ Mohammed Audu group and his pay masters against their unwarranted utterances capable of breaching the peace of the state.

The Association also urged Faleke/Mohammed Audu’s group to desist from criticising Governor Yahaya Bello and blamed its failure on James Faleke who was never part of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship electoral process.
State Chairman of ALGON, Alhaji Taufiq Isa who made the call in Lokoja at the weekend while addressing newsmen on the unruly behaviour of few people in the state, said it is high time the security agents in the state call Duro Meseko and his cohorts to order, to desist from giving false information on the judgement that has not been determined at the apex court.
“The peddling of false information by Faleke’s group has further shown the cry of wolf, any genuine persons or group that have the interest of the state at heart will applaud the governor for the proactive steps taken so far to safe the state resources from the hands of perpetrators of ghost workers and ghost schools.
“The governor has also recorded a giant stride in curbing the security challenges in the state where kidnapping , armed robbery and other criminal activities was the order of the day before Governor Bello took over the mantle of leadership” the ALGON boss added.
While calling on the citizens of the state to be wary of the antics of few individuals who does not wish the state to develop, pointed out that Alhaji Yahaya Bello contested the governorship primaries and came second, which he said was in line with the laid down rules and regulations.
In his words, “Among the lists of contestants at the 2015 APC governorship primaries, James Fakele was no where to be found.
“We are reminding Faleke group to wait for another election as his ambition to become governor of the state through the back door will not be acceptable by the people of the state.
Isa therefore called on the relevant authority to cautioned the duo of James Faleke and Duro Meseko to stop inciting people against the judiciary and security agents, stressing that blackmailing and castigating the governor can never make them to achieve their ill motivated ambition.
