Nasarawa PDP sets to woo members back.



THE Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has been engaged in an effort of reconciling it’s members who for certain reasons left the party before and after the 2015 elections in the country.

The acting National Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, Senator Walid Jibrin made the disclosure during a rally at his country home, Marmara in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State where some notable party stakeholders from the local government area attended among other top party loyalist from the state and including those at the national level of the party in solidarity with the BOT Chairman. 

Speaking during the rally the BOT Chairman, Senator Walid Jibrin, explained that, the aim of the rally is to re-unity it’s new members which would at the end of the day pave ways for meaningful reconciliation for the peace and progress of the party, adding that the rally is step forward towards the demonstration of leadership by example. 

He further explains that the PDP is a party with a vision and the only political platform in Nigeria that its democratic practices accommodate Nigerians from all works of life without intimidations.

Senator Walid assured of the party’s abilities which he said has been the reason for it oneness and togetherness despite all odds circumstances, as the party remains indivisible in the faced of the challenges. Stating that 80% of those in the APC today in Nasarawa state are PDP.as he added that they are now regretting joining APC.

But that the People Democratic Party has its doors open and ready to reabsorb them back under the umbrella.

Also speaking on the rally and about his ambition for the race the National chairman of the (PDP) chief Raymond Dokpesi said, he is still in that drive and that the party had never zone the position to a particular state of the south, but it was explicitly clear that it was zone to the states in the south, which is his reason for his efforts on campaigns Dokpesi added that the PDP remains the only party that has the capacity of good governance of the country, stressing that the country today is more divided under this administration than what was obtained during the civil war and that past PDP administration worked tirelessly to keep the unity of the country than what is currently going on ,he maintains. J
